In-Vehicle Boom Gate Control

The vehicle-side component of a complete automated vehicle access system. Installed in each machine operating in or near a controlled zone, it works in conjunction with the LV or HV skid to ensure only authorised, compliant vehicles can request gate entry, minimising unauthorised zone entries and reducing the risk of incidents at zone boundaries.

LV Solar Boom Gate Skid

A self-contained, solar-powered portable boom gate access control unit for light vehicle traffic management in autonomous and high-risk zones. Radio receivers and ultrasonic sensors detect approaching vehicles and control gate operation automatically, no operator required on site.

The HV Skid uses a Siemens S60 boom gate rated for that level of use.
What is the In-Vehicle Boom Gate Control?
The In-Vehicle Boom Gate Control is the vehicle-side component of the access control system. It's installed in each machine that needs to operate in or near a controlled zone, and communicates with the boom gate skid to verify the vehicle is authorised and compliant before allowing gate entry. It's how the system knows the difference between a vehicle that should enter the zone and one that shouldn't.
Do the systems run on solar power?
Yes. Both boom gate skids are fully solar-powered mobile site security systems, no grid connection, no generator, no ongoing fuel cost. They're designed to operate autonomously at remote and off-grid sites where running power to a gate isn't practical.
Are these systems compatible with autonomous haulage systems (AHS)?
Yes. The HV Boom Gate Skid and In-Vehicle Boom Gate Control are specifically engineered for autonomous zone management on AHS-equipped mine sites, ensuring only compliant vehicles can enter active autonomous haulage zones.
